Mark & Brenda have been a senior pastors in two different churches accumulatively for twenty three years, and also worked in youth ministry for five years and have been evangelists for nine years. Mark grew up in the church and has filled every position within the church including that of a board member for many years. Because of their experience, they can identify with the struggles and needs within a local body.
Mark has been a conference speaker and liaison for evangelists of the Michigan District of the Assemblies of God. He has served as worship leader in several churches, and both him and his wife (Brenda) have been used in revival services that lasted for weeks.
Mark was instrumental in building churches in Mexico, and was the first ministry holding revival services in Biloxi Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina. Mark & Brenda are involved in ministry in the Philippines.
Mark received the baptism in the Holy Ghost over 40 years ago, and since that time, God has been confirming His work in and through Mark & Brenda’s lives with the supernatural. Over 25 years ago they witnessed one of these powerful signs when Brenda was diagnosed with an aneurysm in her brain. However, with the fire of God on his hands, Mark prayed for his wife and things changed. Once further tests were done, the doctors confirmed Brenda’s miracle, the aneurysm was gone!
Mark and Brenda have been married for 43 years, and have two children. Their oldest daughter is married and her and her husband are the worship leaders at the church where they attend. Their youngest daughter is married and she and her husband continue to work with the ministry.
Along with Mark, Brenda is also as vital to the ministry of Fresh Fire. It has been said of her that she has a genuine heart for God. Brenda was saved at the age of seventeen. When Brenda and Mark were married they were both unaware of the path God had in store for them. Five years later, they were in full time ministry and have been ever since.
Brenda is known to work in the prophetic and gifts of knowledge. One testimony of the gifts of the Spirit working in her life, is when God saved their youngest daughter from death with a vision.
One thing that can be said of Mark & Brenda is there’s not a lack of passion in their ministry. Their hearts are wholly given over to God & they are spirit driven.
Fresh Fire consists of ordinary people willing to let God use them in supernatural ways. Lets see what extraordinary things God will do, when you allow this ministry to work with yours!

Mark & Brenda share in a passionate pursuit of Christ and the supernatural; seeking ways to implement God’s dynamics to the body of Christ through the gifts of the Spirit; by hands on ministry demonstrated through words of knowledge, prophecy and healing. Their desire is to bring help to the hurting and hope to the helpless.
Documentation & Affiliation
Fresh Fire Ministries was incorporated on Sept.23,1993 with the state of Michigan,by founders and President Mark & Brenda Farmer. Fresh Fire Ministries is a non-profit corporation with a 501C3 status. While there are other ministries with similar names, there are no current affiliations. Mark & Brenda have been in the ministry for over 35 years, are both credentialed with the Assemblies of God, reside in Michigan, and are involved in ministry throughout the world.
